A heartfelt thank you to all our supporters
The fundraiser is over, this was the first fundraiser for Beyond Filters: The Pad Project. Thank you to all our supporters. We had 28 donors and raised $1,700!
We made our June 1st fundraising goal of $1,500 and we were able to order all the absorbent fabric and the waterproof liner fabric we need for the 500 starter packs before the manufacturer price increase. This was a key hurdle and we cleared it.
Yes, it’s true we didn’t reach the $3,000 goal that was for all the material costs of the initial stockpile pads but this is still a great start and we will continue to move this project forward.
Thank you again. This fundraiser was a success and good start for the project. I’ll be sharing more updates as we move forward! This is an exciting time.
As we wait for our speciality fabric order, we are moving forward on our plans for production. I (Ivy) can’t make all 1,000 pads myself. Our main focus now is to work on gathering the remaining materials we need to start production and preparing for volunteer production.
We are hopeful to have volunteer opportunities in the near future.
